Taylor slid into my emails a few months before her wedding describing her vision for the day and asked me if I was available. I immediately fell in love with her and Brent! She told me their families lived in Hawaii & California and with all the restrictions in place for COVID they could not throw the wedding they originally wanted but they was determined to have a beautiful and sentimental wedding, and damn they did.

They decided to get married in a corner suite of the Swissotel right on the Chicago river with only their 2 witnesses, their officiant, their families on a virtual stream, a videographer, and me as their photographer! The corner suite had such a beautiful view of Navy Pier and some historic Chicago architecture! It truly was the best backdrop!

I couldn’t imagine a more simple, elegant, and intimate wedding than this. Taylor being in the non-profit event industry organized the whole thing seamlessly and I feel so luck to have been there to witness such a sweet simple love like theirs and capture the beginning of their devoted marriage.
