Storyville Chicago was SUCH a beautiful backdrop for Sam and Ivan’s engagement shoot! The moody and romantic New Orleans space really came through in the theme of the photo shoot! Sam & Ivan’s fashion choices were also *chef’s kiss*. The chic and modern dress and plaid suit really popped in the dark space! What better way to capture a date night than to literally go to a cocktail bar and flirt the night away for your engagement photos? After they had a few drinks in them, my associate Stephanie then lead them to a garage rooftop that overlooked the city to have a more urban feel in their photos! Sam and Ivan actually met on the force at the Chicago Police Department. So we felt including their jobs and their meet-cute was necessary! We had a friend of theirs on the force bring a police car to the garage rooftop for some pictures with the blue lights!

Sam was such a model that she needed her own mini fashion shoot within the engagement session. I MEAN COME ON?! Look at that jacket, the glasses, the GLAM! Yeah this was a must!

Then finally they ended the night popping somme bubbly, a staple for most Victoria Saint Martin Photography couples at this point!!
