I get it. Not everyone wants the hallmark Chicago views in their engagement or wedding photos! Here are some photo locations off the beaten path!
This little nook of Chicago holds some of the best restaurants and trendy bars! Green St. Smoked Meats, Trivoli Tavern, Bandit, and Parlor pizza. If you’re like me and love a cute patio to eat or drink at, this location is un-beat! It has string lights, all the plants you can want, and some industrial chicago vibes with it being in an alley way and covered in murals! Located at 112 N Green St, Chicago, IL 60607
Now if you wanted a different skyline than North Ave Beach or the Adler Planetarium view, Henry C. Palmisano Nature Park Nature Park offers it and much more! For my more outdoorsy city couples, this place gives the best of both worlds! Lots of beautiful over grown nature, next to the Chicago river, and a skyline view as well! Located at 2700 S Halsted St, Chicago, IL 60608
God this is a favorite of mine!! I love the city skylines from garage rooftops! If you’re looking for a more fun, edgy location, any garage rooftops in downtown Chicago, West Loop, River North, or Streeterville will do the trick!
I love spending most of my days walking my dog around my neighborhood here in the city! Most of my couples tell me the same, that their neighborhood stole their heart and they love living in that part of chicago. Why not take photos on your home streets?
And while you’re at it, why not take photos in your home?! You spend most of your time with your babe there anyways! This gives a comfortable cozy feeling to your photos that really tells your story! Plus its way easier to involve pets in your house than dragging them out!
MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!! I love exploring all the good food and cocktails that Chicago has to offer! Most dates involve going out to eat tasty food and have some drinks anyways, so it makes perfect sense to me to take your engagement photos at your favorite bar or restaurant! We just need to call the locations ahead of time and get their approval for professional photography taken there as some places do not allow for it!
This Chicago gem used to be a railway for the L trains, but it was converted to a walking and biking path! Giving some unique city vibes and tons of trees and greenery, this path makes for some cute and different photos! The trail stretches about 2.7 miles from Ashland to Ridgeway with may point of entry! These photos were taken in the Wicker Park entrances near Ipsento Coffee at 1813 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647.
I never even knew this existed until a couple of mine showed it to me! If you want Chicago’s version of Venice’s water canals, this is it! With some boats parked in the background, some string lights form a near by pizza place, and the Chicago river, this is a little oasis in our busy city! Located near Robert’s Pizza at 465 N McClurg Ct, Chicago, IL 60611
I know planning your dream wedding can be stressful, heres the thing though, you don't have to do this alone!! I got you! I will be your Chicago wedding guide helping you navigate the not so fun parts of planning your best day ever! I believe you should have FUN on your wedding day! I know, crazy right? Let me prove it to you!
