We all love a boho wedding, but it’s not the easiest look to plan. I teamed up with Afton Events and some of my other favorite Chicago wedding vendors to bring you the ultimate inspiration to plan and design a boho luxe wedding. Check out the beautiful details from our styled shoot at The Lakewood below.

Afton Events created the vision for this boho luxe styled shoot. We focused on warm earth tones and incorporated modern elements to make the overall look down to earth and timeless.

The stationery made by Ink Love and Paper gives me total autumn vibes and really sets the vibe for a fall neutral wedding.

The Lakewood was the perfect blank canvas venue for our neutral tones. Located in Chicago’s West Loop, the Lakewood is a stunning backdrop no matter what vibe you are going for!

Luci Floral Design provided the perfect amount of color with stunning florals! If there’s one thing that you need to make your wedding pop and feel as elegant as you want, it’s florals!!

The modern arch backdrop was done by Posh Studio Rentals. The Spanish influence of the arches creates a warm bohemian feel that is repeated in the stationary and menus giving the wedding a cohesive look and color scheme.

Halls’ Rental provided the dishware and the linens were from BBJ Linen. I loved the neutral florals next to the gold accents on the guest tables. The neutral boho color palette works so elegantly with accents of gold!

The bride wore a long sleeve Lazaro gown and accessories from Aisle Chic. Ruffles and lace definitely gave off carefree bohemian vibes, but her hair and makeup done by Blush and Braids Beauty Bar made the look a bit more modern and timeless.

The groom’s tuxedo was from Formally Modern, giving him a sophisticated look that matched the bohemian vibe of the shoot. Tux’s don’t need to be plain black to look classic! The faintly plaid design on a gray suit adds some dimension and design.

And again adding some unity to the wedding, the Spanish bohemian arches make their way onto a classic white three tier cake made by Uncommon Confections. These little repetitive details throughout the wedding experience really pull the entire look together!
