Sharon & Tim’s wedding was definitely one for the books! Even with the pandemic and all odds against them, they still had the wedding of their dreams! We started the day at the Hyatt in Oak Brook and then made our way into Chicago for their first look and bridal party photos and City View lofts held the perfect COVID safe ceremony and reception!

Here’s what Sharon, the bride, had to say: 

“Going with Victoria was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She is amazing behind the camera and knows how to capture the most perfect moments, and her editing style is impeccable. Beyond that, she has a phenomenal personality. I was so nervous for our engagement session but I quickly forgot about any nerves as soon as Victoria got behind the camera. She knew exactly how to make us feel comfortable and natural. She was also very detailed in how to pose us so we never had to worry about looking awkward. The engagement photos came out gorgeous and now we have so many beautiful photos to look back on!

On our actual wedding day, Victoria went above and beyond to facilitate things. She helped keep us on schedule and move us along to the locations for our shoots. We were running behind by an hour due to hair/makeup delays and I was so stressed, but Victoria’s presence calmed me down. We went from a hotel in the suburbs to a couple of locations in the city to take photos before the wedding, and she completely ran the show with so much grace. She even helped us make logistical decisions like how to split up the party into Ubers, those minor touches really went a long way for us during the wedding day when tensions were high! She also has an upbeat, infectious personality that kept all of our spirits high. A lot of people in the bridal party mentioned to us later that they really enjoyed working with her. She’s really that good!

The turnaround time for our photos was so quick and we are so in love with all the photos! She captured everything so beautifully and I can’t even believe how great they turned out! Victoria is an amazing photographer and just an all around great person to work with! She’s super professional and we’re so so happy we went with her!!”

“Working with Victoria was an absolute pleasure and joy! We hired her before the pandemic ensued and we stayed in constant contact throughout the year leading up to our wedding at the end of August. She was highly encouraging, responsive, and adaptive to the different challenges brought on by the pandemic. To give a little background – my wife and I overall do not consider ourselves very photogenic or comfortable in the front of the camera. We were pretty straightforward with Victoria in the beginning with that and essentially told her we’d need a lot of help (lol). She took it in stride and made us feel so comfortable and at ease in both the engagement session and wedding due to her upbeat personality and high competence. We received so many compliments on Victoria about her photos, personality, and overall ability to drive the photo sessions and keep us on schedule (this was honestly the most impressive part to me).

Our favorite thing about Victoria was her ability to adapt and work with our schedule the day-of. Needless to say, your wedding day doesn’t always go as planned and you’ll have unexpected delays and issues that’ll arise. We were running an hour behind schedule before Victoria came, yet she was still able to take some amazing photos of us getting ready at the hotel, lead us into the city and take us through 2 great locations, and bring us back to the venue on-time! There were a million things my wife and I had to micromanage and stress over throughout the weekend, but photography was certainly not one of them. In fact, we were able to genuinely enjoy the time and relax before our wedding (she’s worth every dollar!). Side note: Victoria was sneezed on by an Uber driver during this whole process and stayed positive and upbeat (I don’t know how she did it). The photos turned out amazing and the turnaround was great (3 weeks). Victoria made us, an awkward couple, feel comfortable and natural during each session. She kept in constant contact with us before the wedding and kept us on-schedule the day of. Our family and friends absolutely loved her and found her directions easy to follow. On top of all of that, she’s a joy to work with! Easily one of the best decisions we ended up making for our wedding and would highly recommend her to anyone who is considering her.
