Lincoln Park Boardwalk – Chicago Photo Location

Lincoln Park is a public park on the North Side of the city and is the largest park in Chicago. The Boardwalk is full of native prairie plants and circles a man made pond. With the downtown skyline in the distance, this nature oasis just north of Chicago is the perfect mix of city and nature for your engagement or wedding photos!

Photo spots within Lincoln Park Board Walk

The Honeycomb Structure

This beautiful and weird structure is perfect for an iconic Chicago engagement photo! With the right framing, the honeycomb contains Chicago’s north view skyline! This is also a very popular spot to pop the question and propose to your bae!

Ulysses S. Grant Monument

This is a little hidden gem in Lincoln Park that I absolutely adore! It’s my favorite place in the city for an upscale castle vibe! The monument has a super cool tunnel you can use for some edgy photos, a regal stone staircase, and a hall of arches for elegance!

Anywhere along the Boardwalk

Anywhere you look in Lincoln Park Boardwalk is picturesque! The water and local foliage makes a great backdrop any time of year! In the spring its vibrant green for a bright fresh look but if you’re looking for a neutral vibe, fall is my favorite time to visit!

Lincoln Park Conservatory

This little gem is the best place for any couples that wish they could escape Chicago’s hustle and bustle lifestyle and head somewhere tropical without breaking the bank! The botanical garden makes for a unique save the date card coming from a large city! If you need the exact address, the conservatory is located at 2391 North Stockton Drive just south of Fullerton Avenue. The conservatory does require a permit that is upwards of $80/hour just so you are prepared if you’d like to have your photos taken here!

Where to Park

Parking is free and relatively easy to find at the right times here! There is free parking right along N Stockton Dr. but can get crowded on the weekends. A good address to put in your map app is Cafe Brauer: 2021 N Stockton Dr, Chicago, IL 60614.

The Lincoln Park Zoo Parking Lot is free for the first 30min and after that, rates range from $20–35 per day. There is also metered parking on Clark Street that you can pay fro online using the Park Chicago.
